Hurricane Irma Devastates Bahamas and Cuba on its Course toward Florida
Hurricane Irma ravaged Cuba and the Bahamas on Friday resulting in the death of 19 people and annihilating infrastructure, as it is set to impact southern Florida on Sunday, Reuters reports. Irma was downgraded from a Category 5 to a Category 4 on Friday morning, but still carries winds as strong as 150 miles per hour. The hurricane has caused extensive disruptions in Caribbean crude shipments and has rendered crude supplies in Bahames Borco’s terminal inaccessible.
