Koch Supply and Trading Mexico Import ultra-low sulphur diesel through Veracruz Port
Koch Supply and Trading Mexico is importing 80,000 barrels of ultra-low sulphur diesel through the port of Veracruz, marking the first private waterborne motor fuel import since Mexico’s 1938 oil nationalisation, Reuters reports. This will be the first of up to 40,000 b/d of refined products to be imported through Veracruz port, equivalent to around one MR cargo every 8 days, as a multiyear agreement with Vopac, the port’s terminal operator, is in place.
By mid-afternoon in London, ICE Brent was trading at $55.65 per barrel, a 0.4% decrease from the end of Thursday’s trading day.
