US Refining Gradually Recuperates from Hurricane Harvey
The number of US refineries offline following Hurricane Harvey has reduced to 13%, or about 2.3M b/d of refining capacity still remaining offline, this compares to 25% a week ago, newswires report.
Benchmark US gasoline prices fell by more than 4% on Monday as refinery activities in the US Gulf Coast resumed. The release of 1M barrels of US emergency fuel stocks was also a contributing factor.
