China’s Crude Steel Production
Daily crude steel output at China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) member mills rose 5.5% from the preceding 10 days to 2.4 Mt in the period 21-30 April, the highest output since June 2021, according to the industry association. Despite the increase, output was still 1.7% down year-on-year.
