Brazilian iron ore exports rose to a three-month high of 30.8 Mt in March, up 6.3 Mt year-on-year, according to official data. Brazilian iron ore exports in the 1q15 were up 7.5 Mt on the same quarter last year at 79.3 Mt. Brazilian soya exports rose to 6.5 Mt in March as shipments began their seasonal surge, although, this was still 0.5 Mt below the year-ago level, according to MDIC data. Meanwhile, corn exports continued to decline, dropping to 0.7 Mt, as their main export season ends.
