China's crude imports fall m-o-m but surge y-o-y

China's imports of crude oil in March fell by 349K b/d m-o-m but increased by 778K b/d y-o-y to average 6.34M b/d, according to data from the country's General Administration of Customs. Across 1Q15, imports averaged 6.55M b/d, an increase of 464k b/d from the same period last year. Notably, crude exports in March jumped from zero in the same month last year and by 135K b/d from February, to average 177K b/d, the highest since June 2008.
