China's oil demand increases in March

China's implied oil demand in March increased by 7.6% y-o-y, Reuters reports, citing calculations based on preliminary government data. This is equivalent consumption of approximately 10.53M b/d during the month, down slightly from a record 10.6M b/d in February. The country's crude runs did however reach a record high in March according to data from China's National Bureau of Statistics, at 10.57M b/d, up 300K b/d y-o-y and up from a revised March 2014 figure of 10.02M b/d.
