US crude stockbuild continues
The pace of the US crude oil stockbuild accelerated in the week ending 17 April after registering its smallest build this year in the previous week, US Energy Information Administration data shows. US crude inventories increased by 5.3M bbls w-o-w to total a thirteenth-consecutive weekly record of 489M bbls, up 27.9% (or 106.6M bbls) since the start of 2015. US crude oil imports rose by 617K b/d w-o-w to average 7.8M b/d. US crude refinery inputs dropped 230K b/d to average 16.0M b/d.
