Economy

Japan's crude oil imports from Mexico and Colombia in June increased from zero in the same month last year to 68K b/d and 32K b/d respectively, Energy Intelligence reports, citing data from the country's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. Imports from the Middle East Gulf were supported by higher volumes from the UAE, which increased by 186K b/d y-o-y to 953K b/d, making the country's Japan's largest crude supplier in the month.
