US crude runs climb to record high
US crude refinery inputs rose by 313K b/d w-o-w to average a record 17.1M b/d (96.1% of capacity) in the week ending 31 July, according to the US Energy Information Administration. US crude imports slipped by 365K b/d from the prior week to 7.2M b/d. US crude inventories dropped 4.4M bbls w-o-w to 455.3M bbls, the lowest since early March. US distillate fuel oil stocks rose by 709K bbls to 144.8M bbls, the highest since February 2012. US West Coast gasoline stocks slipped by 134K bbls to 26.8M bbls, the lowest since October 2014.
