China's iron ore imports rose to 82.1 Mt in November 2015, up 14.7 Mt year-on-year, according to official data. Imports in January-November rose by 1.3% on the same period in 2014 to 856.6 Mt. Although above the monthly average for 2015, the country's steel exports fell on an annual basis for the first time since November 2013, dropping 0.1 Mt year-on-year to 9.6 Mt. Nevertheless, January-November exports were still up by 21.7% year-on-year at 101.8 Mt. Chinese coal imports continued to perform weakly in November, falling 4.8 Mt year-on-year to 16.2 Mt. Imports in the first eleven months of the year were down by 29.4% on the same eleven months in 2014 at 186.4 Mt. China's soyabean imports rose to a three-month high of 7.4 M in November, up 1.4 Mt year-on-year.
