US Trade Deficit Grows

Economy

The US trade deficit widened in October as exports fell to a three year-low, according to US Commerce Department data reported by Reuters. The trade gap increased to $43.9 billion in October, up 3.4%, in part attributed to a stronger dollar. Exports dropped to their lowest level since October 2012 at $184.1 billion, down 1.4%, while imports fell 0.6% to $228.0 billion.
