South Korea's imports of Iraqi crude surge y-o-y
South Korea's crude oil imports from Iraq in June more than doubled y-o-y to average 452K b/d, Bloomberg reports citing Korea Customs Service data. This is the highest volume since August 2012. Over the first half of 2015 South Korea's intake of Iraqi crude was up by 73% compared with the same period last year at 334K b/d, the highest since at least 2000. This made Iraq the third largest crude supplier to South Korea in 1H15.
