India's product exports hit 2015 high despite crude imports slip

Indian exports of diesel, petrol, naphtha and jet in August increased by 124K b/d m-o-m and 267K b/d y-o-y to average a nine-month high of 1.33M b/d, according to the country's Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell. All of the products were at year-to-date highs, excluding naphtha which fell marginally from July's volume. Crude oil imports of 4.1M b/d were down by 118K b/d m-o-m but up by 294K b/d y-o-y.
