International Grains Council

The International Grains Council has revised up its forecast for Russian and Ukrainian wheat exports in the 2015/16 harvest year (Jul-Jun) by 0.2 Mt and 0.7 Mt, to 23.1 Mt and 12.7 Mt, respectively, citing good harvests, competitive pricing and strong sales volumes. This would be all-time highs for both countries. In contrast, the forecast for US wheat exports has been cut by 0.5 Mt to 23.5 Mt, although this would still be up on the 2014/15 total.
