US crude stocks jump as refinery throughputs fall further

US crude oil inventories increased by 4M bbls w-o-w to total 457.9M bbls in the week ending 25 September, according to the US Energy Information Administration. US crude runs dropped by 241K b/d from the prior week to average 16M b/d, the lowest since April. US Midwest refinery inputs were down 195K b/d w-o-w to 3.3M b/d, the lowest since January. US crude imports jumped by 378K b/d w-o-w to 7.3M b/d.
