Nigeria Set To Require Higher Quality Fuel Imports From 1 July

Nigeria is set to increase the quality standards for its imported gasoline, diesel and kerosene from 1 July, Reuters reports, according to a Nigerian environment ministry official and information from the Standards Organisation of Nigeria. From 1 July imported diesel will be able to contain 50ppm of sulphur (compared to 3,000ppm currently), while gasoline will be able to contain 150ppm (versus 1000ppm now).
