US Crude Stocks Decrease Again, Amid Highest Crude Runs Since Early January
US crude oil inventories slipped for a second-consecutive week for the first time since December 2016, falling by 1.03M bbls w-o-w to 532.34M bbls in the week ending 14 April, according to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA). However, this was still up by 25.03M bbls compared to the same week in 2016. US crude refinery throughputs were up by 241K b/d from the prior week to 16.94M b/d, the highest since the first week of January. US crude imports declined by 68K b/d w-o-w to 7.81M b/d.
