Vietnam’s Nghi Son Refinery Prepares To Start
Oil
Vietnam’s 200K b/d Nghi Son refinery, the second in the country, has begun importing crude as it prepares to begin production towards the end of this year or in early 2018, Retuers reports. The facility is expected to be supplied by crude from Azerbaijan, Brunei and Kuwait, with the latter sending the first cargo of 2M bbls in early August. The addition of the refinery and stagnant domestic crude oil production could also make the country a net crude importer.
