Brazilian Iron Ore and Grain Exports in November

After hitting a seven-month high in October, Brazilian iron ore exports declined by 1.1 Mt month-on-month to 34.2 Mt in November, official data show. However, this is still 2.7 Mt higher than the year-ago level. At 350.8 Mt, shipments in the January-November were 12.0 Mt higher than the same period last year.
Brazilian soya (beans & meal) exports in November edged lower by 0.6 Mt on October to 3.2 Mt, but remained more than double the year-ago level, official data show. The country’s corn exports slipped to 3.5 Mt in November, although were still up by 2.6 Mt on the same month in 2016. Moreover, combined total exports of soya and corn in the January-November were 104.5 Mt, well above the entire volume of 2016 (87.9 Mt).
