Price growth for new newly constructed residential housing in 70 major Chinese cities continued to slow in January, with average prices up only 0.2% month-on-month compared with 0.3% in December, according to National Bureau of Statistics data reported by Chinese media. Of the 70 cities, 45 saw month-on-month increases in new home prices, down from 46 in December and 55 in November.
