Caspian Pipeline Exports Rise 4% In 2016 and Expected To Rise Further This Year

Oil exports via the Caspian Pipeline in 2016 increased by around 4% (or approximately 28K b/d) y-o-y to 887K b/d, data from the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) shows. Exports in 2017 are expected to rise further as the CPC completes a 5-year expansion plan on the line in a project which is set to raise the line’s capacity to 1.35M b/d.
