Brazilian Iron Ore and Soya Shipments Rise in June

Supported by annual growth of 4.8 Mt to 33.8 Mt in June, Brazil exported 184.0 Mt of iron ore in the 1h17, up by 6.7 Mt on the same period last year, official data show. The June volume marked a decline of 1.3 Mt from May.
At 10.6 Mt, the country’s soya exports (beans & meal) were up by 1.3 Mt year-on-year in June. Exports have now risen on an annual basis in every month of the year with 1h17 shipments up by 4.6 Mt on the 1h16 at 51.6 Mt.
