EIA Maintains US Crude Supply Outlook For 2017 But Lowers 2018 Projection

US crude output in 2017 is expected to grow by 460K b/d y-o-y to 9.33M b/d, according to the US EIA’s latest Short-Term Energy Outlook (STEO). This is unchanged from a June forecast. However, for 2018 the EIA has lowered its expectations for crude production by 102K b/d June to 9.9M b/d but this would still be 572K b/d high y-o-y.
