Libya’s Output Rebounds After Dispute Settled
Oil
Libya’s oil output has risen by over 50K b/d to 885K b/d after the country’s state-oil firm, National Oil Corporation (NOC), settled a dispute with German oil producer Wintershall, Reuters reports. This would put the country’s output around 300K b/d higher than end-2016 output of approximately 620K b/d, according to International Energy Agency (IEA) data. Output is expected to rise further in the months ahead with the NOC currently aiming for output of 1M b/d by end-July.
