Russia Crude Exports Set To Rise in April

Russia’s seaborne crude oil exports in April (including transhipments from Azerbijan, Belarus and Kazakhstan) are scheduled to rise by 230K b/d m-o-m and 132K b/d y-o-y to 3.18M b/d, Energy Intelligence reports, citing loading schedules. Growth is being driven by higher loadings from the Baltic, which are due to rise by 154K b/d m-o-m and 97K b/d y-o-y to 1.83M b/d. Volumes from the region have been kept high ahead of pipeline monopoly Transneft’s plans to switch one of the two crude oil pipelines of the Baltic Pipeline System (that runs to Primorsk) to move diesel, with work beginning in May.
