CPC Opens New Pumping Stations As It Aims To Boost Pipeline Capacity

The Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) has opened two new pumping stations in Astrakhan, Russia which will raise the CPC pipeline’s capacity by around 200K b/d, Reuters reports. The additions are part of an expansion project which aims to boost overall capacity on the pipeline by 416K b/d (or 47%) in 2017, with work expected to be completed by September.
