US Crude Output Expected To Climb In 2017-2018


US crude production in 2017 is expected to rise by 430K b/d y-o-y to 9.31M b/d, according to the US Energy Information Administration’s (EIA) latest Short-Term Energy Outlook. This is up from growth of 340K b/d in last month’s forecast. In comparison, projections for 2018 crude output growth were trimmed by 30K b/d to 690K b/d, although this would still put 2018 output at a record 9.96M b/d.
