US Crude Stocks Edge Downwards As Refinery Throughputs Hold Near Record-High
US crude oil inventories declined by 930K bbls w-o-w to 527.77M bbls in the week ending 28 April, the lowest since February (but still up by 15.68M bbls y-o-y), according to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA). US crude runs fell by 108K b/d w-o-w to 17.18M b/d, but this was still the second highest throughput on record. US crude imports dropped by 648K b/d from the prior week to 8.3M b/d. Over the last four weeks, US crude imports have averaged 8.2M b/d, up by 382K b/d y-o-y.
