Chinese Crude Refinery Output Rebounds in August
Oil
Chinese refineries processed 6.5% more crude in August than a year earlier at 47.12M tonnes or about 11.1M b/d, according to data from the National Bureau of Statistics. This was also an increase from July's 10.71M b/d. The higher runs came after independent plants set out to boost production with newly grant quotas from late June and as PetroChina's new 260,000 b/d refinery raised production after the completion of test operations.
