Corpus Christi Port Reopens, with some restrictions
The US Coast Guard has reopened the port of Corpus Christi in Texas, along with its ship channel for deeper-draft vessels, newswires report. This follows the port and channel being closed for a record 6 days due to Hurricane Harvey. The reopening is expected to allow several local refiners to resume operations. However, the reopening came with some restrictions such as only vessels with a draft of 43 feet (or 13 meters) and daylight hours transit restrictions.
