Iron ore stockpiles at 42 Chinese ports surveyed by U-Metal declined by 0.6 Mt week-on-week to 116.2 Mt on 24 April, after edging up by nearly 1.0 Mt over the previous two weeks. Inventories have remained down on the year, with late April 2019 stocks at 134.9 Mt.
