South Korean Iron Ore Imports Drop in March

South Korean iron ore imports fell by 0.8 Mt year-on-year to 5.1 Mt in March, provisional customs data show. Receipts from Brazil tumbled by 0.8 Mt on the year to less than 0.2 Mt last month, while imports of Australian supplies were up slightly at 4.1 Mt (+0.1 Mt).

Iron ore receipts in the 1q20 declined to 16.5 Mt (-0.6 Mt year-on-year), within this Australian supplies rose by 0.7 Mt to 12.7 Mt and Brazilian product fell by 0.8 Mt to 1.7 Mt.
