US HRB Price Continues Lower

The US domestic hot-rolled band (HRB) price dropped by $34/t in the two-weeks to 27 April to the lowest level since November 2016 at $543/t, bringing the total decline over the past seven weeks to $108/t, according to the latest SteelBenchmarker from World Steel Dynamics.
The Chinese HRB price inched down to $402/t on 27 April (-$1/t), while the Western European HRB price fell by $16/t over the two-week period to a four-year low of $457/t.
