US HRB Price Falls

The US domestic hot-rolled band (HRB) price plunged by $44/t in the two-weeks to 13 April to $577/t, the lowest since late November 2019, according to the latest SteelBenchmarker from World Steel Dynamics.
Meanwhile, the Chinese HRB price dropped to a near three-year low (May 2017) of $403/t on 13 April, down by $13/t from the previous two weeks. The Western European HRB price was down by $23/t over the same period to $473/t.
