US Steel Imports Drop in March

US steel imports posted an annual decline for an eighth month in a row (-0.5 Mt) to 1.6 Mt in March, data from the US Census Bureau show. Receipts in the 1q20 fell to 5.8 Mt (-1.6 Mt year-on-year), but rose from a near decade-low of 4.8 Mt in the 4q19.
