Brazilian Iron Ore, Soya and Corn Exports in July

Brazilian iron ore exports rose to a nine-month high of just under 34.0 Mt in July, according to preliminary government data (MDIC). However, shipments were down slightly year-on-year (-0.2 Mt).
Meanwhile, soyabean and soyameal exports continued to post an annual gain (a trend in each month since March), rising by 2.9 Mt and 0.3 Mt to 10.4 Mt and 1.8 Mt, respectively. However, combined exports have eased since peaking at 18.0 Mt in April.
Corn exports rose to a year-to-date high of 4.2 Mt in July, but remained down on the year (-1.8 Mt).
