Chinese Auto Sales Extend Growth in July

Showing additional signs of recovery following coronavirus-related lockdowns, Chinese auto sales rose by 16.4% year-on-year to 2.1 million vehicles in July, growing for a fourth month in a row, Reuters reported based on data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM). However, sales in the first seven months of 2020 were down by 12.7% to 12.4 million units.
