CISA Crude Steel Output Edges Higher

China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) member mills produced 2.16 Mt/day of crude steel over 11-20 August, inching up 0.35% from the previous ten-day period and close to the record 2.17 Mt/day achieved in the last 11 days of July, industry group data show. Production has remained above 2.1 Mt/day since early June.
