CISA Crude Steel Output Surges to Record High

China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) member mills produced a record 2.17 Mt/day of crude steel in the last 11-days of July, data from the industry group show. Output rose from 2.14 Mt/day in mid-July and has averaged above 2.10 Mt/day since early-June, a level last witnessed over a ten-day period in September 2019.
