Iron Ore Inventories at Chinese Ports Decline

Iron ore stockpiles at 42 surveyed Chinese ports fell by 0.85 Mt in the week to 7 August to 113.31 Mt, the first week-on-week decline since 12 June, according to U-Metal data.

Meanwhile, U-Metal data show steel inventories in major Chinese cities eased by 0.02 Mt on the week to 15.59 Mt on 7 August, ending six consecutive weeks of rises.
