Ukrainian Grain Exports Drop

Ukrainian grain shipments in the 2020/21 (Jul-Jun) marketing year-to-date were down by 25% year-on-year because of weaker corn exports, Reuters reported based on information from the country’s energy ministry. Exports to 5 August included 1.5 Mt of wheat, 0.5 Mt of corn and 1.0 Mt of barley. By contrast shipments were 1.0 Mt higher during the same period last year, with corn exports at 1.5 Mt.
