US Grain Shipments Grow

Total US exports of corn, wheat and soyabeans climbed to 2.9 Mt in the week ending 6 August, the highest weekly level since November 2019, data from the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) data show. Shipments the following week (ending 13 August) eased to 2.5 Mt, but were still 0.2 Mt above the average of the previous four weeks. By contrast weekly exports averaged 2.2 Mt/week in August 2019.
