Iron Ore Stocks at Chinese Ports Drop

Iron ore inventories at 42 U-Metal surveyed Chinese ports shed 2.6 Mt in the week to 11 December to 121.8 Mt, the lowest level since early October.

In line with the trend in previous years, steel stocks in major Chinese cities continued to draw lower, falling 0.6 Mt during the same period to 8.8 Mt, U-Metal data show.
