Weekly US Grain Shipments Hold Steady
Grain
US exports of corn, soyabeans and wheat edged lower on the week to just shy of 4 Mt in the week ending 3 December, data from the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) reveal. Nevertheless, weekly shipments were still the third highest level since November 2016.
Corn exports dropped nearly 0.4 Mt to 0.7 Mt, the lowest since early September. However, this was nearly offset by soyabean exports rising 0.2 Mt to 2.7 Mt and wheat loadings growing to 0.6 Mt (+0.1 Mt).
