Brazilian Crude Steel Output Extends Fall

Brazilian crude steel production declined by 0.3 Mt year-on-year to 2.7 Mt in January, according to data from Instituto Aço Brasil. Output has registered annual falls in every month since June 2019. However, last month’s production moved up from 2.4 Mt in December 2019 to a seven-month high.
