Indian Iron Ore Exports Climb in 2019

Indian iron ore exports rose to 31.3 Mt last year up from 18.2 Mt in 2018, according to provisional data from the commerce ministry. This reversed an annual decline of 10.7 Mt posted in 2018.

October-December shipments of iron ore increased to 9.1 Mt, up from 4.5 Mt during the same months in 2018 and the highest quarterly level since January-March 2017.
