Moroccan Coal Imports Continue to Rise

Total Moroccan coal imports, including anthracite, rose to 9.9 Mt in 2019 (+1.4 Mt year-on-year), extending a trend of annual growth since 2016, IHS complied data show.

Receipts of Russian coal climbed by 1.9 Mt year-on-year to 5.8 Mt in 2019. However, arrivals of US product decreased by 1.1 Mt from 2018 to 2.9 Mt.
