Singapore Marine Fuels Sales at 2-Year High

Singapore marine sales hit a two-year high of 4.5Mt in January, 49Kt higher m-o-m and 315Kt higher on the year, according to data from the MPA. Sales of LSFO rose another 481Kt m-o-m and 3.1Mt on the year, while HSFO sales dropped 507Kt from December and 3Mt from January 2019. Low sulphur marine fuels accounted for 83% of Singapore bunker sales in January, a record 3.74Mt, compared to 8% in January 2019 and 70% in December.
