Brazilian Minor Bulk Exports in June

Brazilian raw sugar loadings surged to 2.7 Mt last month, the highest since September 2017, boosting 1h20 exports to 10.1 Mt (+3.4 Mt year-on-year) government data show.
Separately, steel shipments were unchanged on the year at 1.1 Mt in June, while first half of 2020 exports fell by 0.6 Mt to just under 6.0 Mt.
Brazilian bauxite exports rose to a six-month high of 0.4 Mt in June, although 1h20 shipments were still down by 1.3 Mt year-on-year to 2.1 Mt.
The country’s manganese ore exports were flat on the year at 1.4 Mt in the first six-months of 2020, with June volumes up by 0.1 Mt to 0.3 Mt.
